They may be the first health care professional you come in contact with when you visit a hospital, clinic or medical facility. Nurses usually assess your condition, take your vitals and report back to doctors, so they can assess you more thoroughly.
Nurses work long hours. Their jobs are demanding and hence they have to be physically, emotionally and mentally strong to handle the daily rigours.

Nurses have many responsibilities. Their jobs are universal and gaining qualification typically takes them into any health care facility. To become a Staff Nurse you will have to complete the basic nursing training and meet any other local, national, or international requirements.a
